Six second-half goals meant that Arsenal completed an impressive comeback victory at the King Power Stadium.
The Gunners' recent away form hasn’t been the best and by half time it looked like that would continue with the home side 2-0.
Defender Sam Tierney headed in from a corner in the 36th minute to give Leicester a surprise lead before just a few minutes later Janice Cayman added to the scoring.
Whatever Jonas Eidevall said at the break had its intended effect – by the 51st minute, it was 2-2.
The Gunners pulled one back first through Cloé Lacasse and then through Alessia Russo with the Foxes' defence not covering itself in glory.
The turnaround was complete in the 58th minute by a delightful chip from Caitlin Foord with the Australian scooping the ball over goalkeeper Janina Leitzig.
Victoria Pelova increased the advantage for Arsenal before Stina Blackstenius slid the ball home to make it 5-2 in the 75th minute.
Lina Hurtig will have felt she should have gotten on the scoresheet much sooner than she did. The Swede got Arsenal’s sixth in the eighth minute of stoppage time after having already hit the frame of the goal twice in the second half.
That result leaves Arsenal in second place in the WSL – one point ahead of third-placed Manchester United and three points behind champions Chelsea with a tricky trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on the horizon.
Meanwhile, after a bright start to the season, Leicester City ended the week in seventh place and host fellow North London side Tottenham Hotspur next.
