Sporting beat CD Tondela in a close win on Saturday, 1x2, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the Portuguese League Cup.
The opening goal was scored by Daniel Bragança in the 17th minute, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box. After 32 minutes, Paulinho struck the second goal for Sporting, with a right-foot shot from outside the box. With this strike, Paulinho reached 10th goals for the season.
Hélder Tavares netted the last goal after 76 minutes with a right-foot strike.
