FC Eindhoven defeated by Helmond Sport

Helmond Sport overcame FC Eindhoven in a close win on Monday, 2x1, on matchweek 36. Before this matchday, Helmond's team came from four defeats, and Eindhoven's team came from a draw.

The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

The opening goal was scored by Bram Zwanen after 51 minutes. With 53 minutes on the clock, Helmond Sport extended their lead with a goal from Richelor Sprangers.  Branco van den Boomen netted the last goal after 81 minutes from the penalty spot.

After the result FC Eindhoven are 14th in the table, with 48 points, while Helmond Sport sit 19th place, with 21 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Helmond's team visit FC Utrecht, while Eindhoven's team will host AZ Alkmaar.
