Flamengo beat LDU Quito

Flamengo beat LDU Quito in a win on Thursday, 3x1, in a match relating to the Grp.D of Libertadores.

With 9 minutes on the clock, Éverton Ribeiro opened the score for Flamengo, with a left-foot strike, laid on by Diego. Diego Alves kept his goal safe by saving the penalty after 45 minutes, taken by Jefferson Intriago. 

In the 69th minute, Gabriel Barbosa fired home Abel Braga's team second goal, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty area, after an assist provided by Bruno Henrique. After 81 minutes, Fernando Uribe doubled the lead for Rio de Janeiro (RJ)'s team, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box.  Cristian Borja netted the last goal deep into added time from the penalty spot.

In relation to forthcoming league matches, Flamengo will play at home against Peñarol, while LDU Quito visit San José.
