Lille thrash Nice

Lille eased past Nice in a fantastic win on Friday, 4x0, on matchday 23. Before this matchday, Christophe Galtier's team came from three wins, and Patrick Vieira's team came from a win.

The first goal of the game was scored by Rafael Leão, with a right-foot strike, after 7 minutes.  in the 37th minute, Nicolas Pépé scored the second goal for Lille, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty area, after a pass from Rafael Leão.

With 75 minutes on the clock, Jonathan Bamba doubled the lead for Lille's team, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box. With this goal, Jonathan Bamba reached the landmark of ten goals this season.  in the closing stages of the game, Nice saw Pierre Lees-Melou leave the game early with a direct red card. After 90 minutes, Loic Rémy wrapped things up, through a header, laid on by Jérémy Pied.

After the result Lille are 2nd in the table, with 46 points, while Nice sit 9th place, with 34 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Lille's team will play away against Guingamp, whilst Nice's team will host Lyon.
