FK Krasnodar hosted and defeated Standard Liège

FK Krasnodar triumphed over Standard Liège in a close win on Thursday, 2x1, in a match relating to the Grp.J of Europa League.

After 19 minutes, Mehdi Carcela opened the score for Standard Liège, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty box, after an assist provided by Konstantinos Laifis.

Sub Magomed Suleymanov, in the 73rd minute, changed the course of the game. After 79 minutes, forward struck for FK Krasnodar, with a right-foot strike inside the box, assisted by Wanderson Maciel. Forward scored the winner with 82 minutes on the clock with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box.

In relation to forthcoming league matches, FK Krasnodar will host Akhisar, while Standard Liège will play at home against Sevilla.
