Chelsea defeated Huddersfield Town by 1x3

Chelsea edged out Huddersfield Town in a win on Tuesday, 1x3, on matchweek 17. Before this matchday, Huddersfield's team came from a win, and blues came from a defeat. Willian was the main player.

Tiémoué Bakayoko opened the score with 23 minutes on the clock, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box. After 43 minutes, Willian fired home Chelsea second goal, through a header inside the box, with Marcos Alonso making the assist.

In the 50th minute, blues extended their lead with a goal from Pedro Rodríguez with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area.  after 90 minutes, Laurent Depoitre netted the final goal of the game, through a header inside the box, after a pass from Florent Hadergjonaj.

After the result Chelsea are 3rd in the table, with 35 points, while Huddersfield Town sit 12th place, with 18 points. Next up, Antonio Conte's team will play at home against Southampton, whilst David Wagner's team visit Watford.
