Latvia defeated Andorra in a close win on Tuesday, 0x1, in a match relating to the Grp.B of World Cup Qualifiers (UEFA). Both Andorra's national team and Letónia's national team held their first game in the competition.
The first-half ended with a goalless draw.
After the break, Valerijs Sabala scored the only goal for Latvia, assisted by Vitalijs Jagodinskis.
In relation to forthcoming league matches, Latvia will host Ilhas Faroé. Meanwhile, Andorra will play away against Portugal.
