Manchester City hammered Luton Town by five goals to one at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend and that was then followed by both Arsenal and Liverpool suffering surprise defeats at home to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace respectively.

That means Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens sit at the top-of-the-table in the Premier League ahead of the second-leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid on Wednesday evening before facing Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

With the possibility, and a genuine one at that, that City could win a ‘double treble’ this season, it is worth while looking at where that will move them on the all-time trophies won table for English clubs.

So, here is a rundown of every single major trophy won by all of the current 92 clubs in the Premier League and the three divisions of the EFL with City looking to add three more in the next month or so…

As a football fan, I have to say I am feeling very optimistic about Manchester City's current form and potential for success this season. The recent thrashing of Luton Town and the surprising defeats of Arsenal and Liverpool show that City is on a strong winning streak. And with upcoming matches against Real Madrid and Chelsea, there is a real chance for them to secure a double treble. It's exciting to think about where this will place them in the all-time trophies won table for English clubs
