Seattle Sounders hammered CF Montréal in a superb win on Sunday, 5-0, in a match relating to the Grp.East of the MLS. Raúl Ruidíaz with a superb display.
After 20 minutes, Raúl Ruidíaz opened the scoring for Seattle Sounders. Brian Schmetzer's team scored their second goal of the game through forward, with 27 minutes on the clock, from the penalty spot.
After the break, Seattle Sounders extended their lead with a goal from Jordan Morris. In the 53rd minute, Nathan Saliba saw a red card after receiving his second yellow with 81 minutes on the clock, Alex Roldán doubled the lead for Brian Schmetzer's team. Deep into added time, CF Montréal saw George Campbell get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. In stoppage time, Dylan Teves netted the final goal of the game.
With regard to the next fixture, Seattle Sounders will play away against FC Dallas. Meanwhile, CF Montréal will host FC Cincinnati.
