Benfica B and Varzim did not go beyond a tie

Benfica B and Varzim drew 3x3 in their exciting match on Friday, in the match for the 13th round. In this competition, Renato Paiva's team came from three draws, and Paulo Alves's team came from two wins. Leonardo Ruiz with a superb display.

 Tiago Dantas opened the score after 14 minutes, from a direct free kick. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Ruiz struck for Varzim, from a corner, laid on by Chris Nduwarugira. With 26 minutes on the clock, Levi Lumeka strucked the second goal for Paulo Alves's team, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area, after a pass from Leonardo Ruiz. Levi Lumeka is on a scoring streak of 4 consecutive games scoring.

After 62 minutes, Daniel dos Anjos fired home Benfica B's second goal, with a right-foot shot, laid on by Gonçalo Ramos. In the 70th minute, Godfried Frimpong struck for Renato Paiva's team, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area, with Úmaro Embaló making the assist.  Leonardo Ruiz netted the last goal after 72 minutes with a right-foot strike. It was his 10th goal of the season.

After the result Varzim is 3rd in the table, 23 points, while Benfica B occupy 15th place, 14 points. In the next fixture, encarnados visit SC Covilhã, while Paulo Alves's team visit Vilafranquense.
