Escócia edged out Chipre in a close win on Saturday, 2x1, in a match relating to the Grp.I of Euro (Q). In the starting XI there was David Marshall, Charlie Mulgrew, Andy Robertson, Kenny McLean, John McGinn and Ryan Fraser.
The first half came to an end without goals.
Andy Robertson opened the score with 61 minutes on the clock, with a left-foot strike from outside the box. After 79 minutes, John McGinn came on. In the closing stages of the game, Ioannis Kousoulos fired home for Chipre, from a corner, laid on by Anthony Georgiou. With 88 minutes on the clock, Stuart Armstrong came on. Oliver Burke scored the winner in the final minutes of the game with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box. With this goal, Oliver Burke recorded his five goal this season.
