RS Berkane overcome Gor Mahia

RS Berkane triumphed over Gor Mahia in a fantastic win on Sunday, 5x1, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of Taça Confederação CAF. Mounir Jaouani's team beat Hassan Oktay's team, 2x0, in the first leg of the tie.

The opening goal was scored by Kodjo Laba with 21 minutes on the clock. In the 24th minute, Lawrence Juma fired home for Gor Mahia, assisted by Francis Kahata. After 32 minutes, Mohamed Aziz struck the second goal for RS Berkane, laid on by Omar Nemsaoui.  with 37 minutes on the clock, Mounir Jaouani's team extended their lead with a goal from Bakr El Helali. 

In the 58th minute, Berkane's team increased their lead with a goal from Issoufou Dayo.  in the final minutes of the game, Youssef Essaïdi netted the final goal of the game.

With this result, RS Berkane are into the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Mounir Jaouani's team will play away against CS Sfaxien.
