Colombo beat Transport United with a thriller

Colombo crushed Transport United, 7x1, on Wednesday, in a match relating of AFC Cup. Both Colombo's team and Thimpu's team held their first game in the competition. Mohamed Aakib made a great performance with 3 goals.

Mohamed Aakib opened the score in the 5th minute. Colombo scored their second goal of the game through forward, after 8 minutes.  Mohamed Aakib completed the hat-trick, in the 11th minute. With 28 minutes on the clock, Colombo's team increased their lead with a goal from Tagne Bodric . 

In the 50th minute, Aboubacar Camara left the game early after seeing a red card. With 76 minutes on the clock, Tagne Bodric doubled the lead for Ruwan Mudiyanselage 's team.  in the 77th minute, Norbu Lepcha fired home for Transport United. After 81 minutes, Colombo extended their lead with a goal from Asikur Alawadeen.  in the closing stages of the game, Tagne Bodric completed the hat-trick. With this goal, Tagne Bodric reached the 3rd goal of the season.

In relation to forthcoming league matches, Colombo will play away against Transport United.
