In time added on, Jermain Defoe netted the final goal of the game, assisted by James Tavernier.
After the result Rangers are 2nd in the table, with 51 points, while Aberdeen sit 3rd place, with 46 points. In the next fixture, Glasgow's team will host St. Johnstone, while Aberdeen's team will play at home against St. Mirren.
