Game between Hertha BSC and Schalke 04 ended in a stalemate

Hertha BSC and Schalke 04 drew 2x2 in a match on Friday, relating to matchday 19 of Bundesliga. Before this matchday, Berlin's team came from a win, and Gelsenkirchen's team came from two wins.

The first goal of the game was scored by Yevhen Konoplyanka, with a right-foot strike from outside the penalty box, in the 17th minute.  with 39 minutes on the clock, Marko Grujic fired home for Hertha BSC, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box, with Ondrej Duda making the assist. Schalke 04 scored their second goal of the game through Mark Uth, shortly before the interval, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area, assisted by Bastian Oczipka.  with 45 minutes already played, Vedad Ibisevic scored the last goal of the match, through a header, after a pass from Davie Selke. With this goal, Vedad Ibisevic reached the 10th goal of the season.

After the result Hertha BSC are 7th in the table, with 28 points, while Schalke 04 sit 12th place, with 22 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Berlin's team will host Wolfsburg, whilst Gelsenkirchen's team will play at home against Borussia M´gladbach.
