Despite the draw, Junior Barranquilla progress to the next round of Copa Sudamericana

Defensa y Justicia beat Junior Barranquilla in a win on Friday, 3x1, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of Copa Sudamericana. Julio Comesaña's team beat Sebastián Beccacece's team, 2x0, in the first leg of the tie. Nicolás Fernández made a tremendous game.

The opening goal was scored by Leonel Miranda in the 19th minute. Defensa y Justicia scored their second goal of the game through Nicolás Fernández, after 29 minutes. 

With 54 minutes on the clock, Sebastián Beccacece's team extended their lead with a goal from midfielder. It was his 15th goal of the season.  in the 72nd minute, Luis Díaz wrapped things up, laid on by Víctor Cantillo .

With this result, Junior Barranquilla are into the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Barranquilla, Atlántico's team will play away against Santa Fe.
