Santa Fe edged out Deportivo Cali in a close win on Wednesday, 1x2, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of Copa Sudamericana.
The first goal was scored by Wilson Morelo after 16 minutes, from the penalty spot. With 17 minutes on the clock, Diego Guastavino struck the second goal for Santa Fe.
Nicolas Benedetti netted the last goal in the 73rd minute.
With this result, Santa Fe are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Bogotá's team will play at home against Junior Barranquilla.
