Besiktas defeated Yeni Malatyaspor by 2x1

Besiktas beat Yeni Malatyaspor in a close win on Saturday, 2x1, in a game relating to mathweek 5. To this matchday, İstanbul's team came from a draw, and Malatya's team came from a defeat.

The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

Sub Ryan Babel, in the 46th minute, changed the course of the game. After 52 minutes, Pepe opened the score for Besiktas, assisted by Ricardo Quaresma. In the 74th minute, Senol Günes's team saw Gary Medel get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. With 81 minutes on the clock, İstanbul's team increased their lead with a goal from Ryan Babel.  Guilherme Marques netted the last goal after 89 minutes.
