Middlesbrough defeat Hull City

Middlesbrough edged out Hull City, 3x1, on Tuesday, on matchweek 33. To this matchday, Middlesbrough's team came from a defeat, and Kingston Upon Hull's team came from a win. Rudy Gestede with a superb display.

In the 16th minute, Rudy Gestede opened the score for Middlesbrough, through a header inside the penalty area. After 41 minutes, Evandro fired home for Hull City, from a corner, laid on by Jon Toral. With 45 minutes on the clock, Patrick Bamford struck the second goal for Tony Pulis's team, with a right-foot strike inside the box. 

Rudy Gestede netted the last goal in the 58th minute with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box.

After the result Middlesbrough are 8th in the table, with 51 points, while Hull City sit 20th place, with 30 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Tony Pulis's team will play away against Sunderland, whilst Nigel Adkins's team will play at home against Sheffield United.
