Fiorentina edged past Udinese

Fiorentina overcame Udinese in a close win on Sunday, 2x1, relating to matchweek 8 of Serie A. To this matchday, Stefano Pioli's team came from a defeat, and Luigi del Neri's team came from a win. Cyril Théréau made a tremendous game.

The first goal of the game was scored by Cyril Théréau, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box, with 28 minutes on the clock. With this goal, Cyril Théréau reached the 5th goal of the season. 

After 57 minutes, forward struck the second goal for Fiorentina, with a right-foot strike inside the box.  Samir netted the last goal after 72 minutes with a left-foot strike.

After the result Fiorentina are 11th in the table, with 10 points, while Udinese sit 16th place, with 6 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Stefano Pioli's team will play away against Benevento. Meanwhile, Luigi del Neri's team will host Juventus.
