Besiktas edged out FC Porto, 1x3, on Wednesday, in a match relating to the Grp.G of Champions League. Both Sérgio Conceição's team and Senol Günes's team made their first game in the competition.
The first goal was scored by Anderson Talisca in the 13th minute, through a header. In an unfortunate moment Dusko Tosic scored an own goal in the 21st minute, from a corner. After 28 minutes, Cenk Tosun scored the second goal for Besiktas, with a right-foot shot from outside the penalty box, after a pass from Caner Erkin.
Ryan Babel netted the last goal with 86 minutes on the clock with a right-foot strike inside the penalty box.
In the next fixture, Besiktas will host RB Leipzig. Meanwhile, FC Porto will play away against Monaco.
