Slovakia defeat Malta

Slovakia defeated Malta, 1x3, on Sunday, in a match relating to the Grp.F of World Cup Qualifiers (UEFA).

Early in the game, Vladimír Weiss opened the scoring for Slovakia, laid on by Adam Nemec.  in the 14th minute, Jean Farrugia struck for Malta. Ján Kozák's team scored their second goal of the game through Ján Gregus, after 41 minutes, assisted by Vladimír Weiss. 

With 73 minutes on the clock, Luke Gambin ended it up being subbed. After 78 minutes, Pietro Ghedin's team saw Jean Farrugia get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. Adam Nemec netted the last goal in the 84th minute. In time added on, Eslováquia's national team saw forward get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.

In the next fixture, Slovakia visit Lituânia, whilst Malta will play away against Eslovénia.
