Benfica defeat Belenenses

Benfica beat Belenenses in a win on Sunday, 0x2, relating to matchday 8 of Primeira Liga. To this matchday, Quim Machado's team came from a defeat, and Rui Vitória's team came from two wins.

After 10 minutes, Kostas Mitroglou opened the scoring for Benfica, from a corner, assisted by Pizzi. 

Álex Grimaldo netted the last goal in the 65th minute with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box.

After the result Benfica are 1st in the table, with 22 points, while Belenenses sit 13th place, with 9 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Rui Vitória's team will host Paços de Ferreira. Meanwhile, Quim Machado's team visit SC Braga.
