Millwall beat Chesterfield

Millwall edged out Chesterfield in a win on Saturday, 1x3, in a game relating to mathweek 5. Before this matchday, Chesterfield's team came from a defeat, and London's team came from a win. Steve Morison was the star with 2 goals.

In the 13th minute, Shane Ferguson opened the scoring for Millwall, with a left-foot strike inside the box, laid on by Aiden O´Brien.  with 38 minutes on the clock, Steve Morison struck the second goal for Neil Harris's team, with a right-foot shot, after an assist provided by Byron Webster.  after 41 minutes, London's team increased their lead with a goal from Steve Morison with a right-foot strike from outside the penalty box. With this goal, Steve Morison reached the 5th goal of the season. 

After 65 minutes, Sam Hird wrapped things up, assisted by John Nolan.

After the result Millwall are 5th in the table, with 10 points, while Chesterfield sit 10th place, with 7 points. With regard to the next fixture, London's team will play at home against Bradford City, whilst Chesterfield's team visit AFC Wimbledon.
