CD UES edged past Santa Tecla FC

CD UES edged out Santa Tecla FC, 2x1, on Friday, relating to matchday 2 of Apertura El Salvador. Before this matchday, Edgar Henríquez's team came from a defeat, and Ernesto Corti's team came from a draw. Mckauly Tulloch runned the show.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The opening goal was scored by Mckauly Tulloch after 51 minutes. With 65 minutes on the clock, forward doubled the lead for CD UES.  Loco Abreu netted the last goal with 83 minutes on the clock from the penalty spot.

After the result CD UES are 5th in the table, with 3 points, while Santa Tecla FC sit 10th place, with 1 points. With regard to the next fixture, Edgar Henríquez's team will play away against Chalatenango. Meanwhile, Ernesto Corti's team will play at home against Alianza FC.
