League One Derby's busy transfer window shows no sign of slowing down - the Rams completing the signing of Kane Wilson from Bristol City on Tuesday.
Unable to break into the Robins first-team picture after a season dogged by injury in 20232/23, Wilson has moved to Pride Park for an undlsclosed fee on a two-year deal.
Now 23, Wilson enjoyed a sensational season for League Two champions Forest Green Rovers back in 2021-22, but his subsequent move to the Championship was plagued by injuries and he made just seven appearances for the Robins in all competitions last season.
Speaking after completing his move, Wilson said:
"I'm over the moon. It's something that I've wanted to do for a while so to get it done is brilliant. It feels like a very family-orientated club, everyone seems to know each other and get on well and I can't wait to get amongst it."
The wide man, who can play at right full-back or wing-back becomes Derby's seventh summer signing and he is keen to recapture the form he showed at Forest Green after his frustrating stint at Ashton Gate.
"(Bristol City) was a contrast really with my season at Forest Green - polar opposites really. It was tough because I had an injury and then wasn't selected. It's tough, it's the worst thing any footballer can face but I've got the bit between my teeth now and I'm ready to go and compete and get into this Derby County team."
