Lionel Messi and Suarez found the back of the net to propel Inter Miami to a 3-2 victory against Sporting Kansas City, breaking their five-game winless streak.
Sporting KC took an early lead through Erik Thommy's goal in the sixth minute. However, Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham, equalised in the 18th minute when Messi delivered a sublime pass into the box for youngster Diego Gomez to score.
In the second half, Messi unleashed a powerful 25-yard shot to give Inter Miami their first lead of the game. Despite this, Erik Thommy responded with an impressive volley to level the score once again.
The decisive moment came in the 71st minute when Luis Suarez netted a crucial goal for Inter Miami, securing their hard-fought 3-2 victory as they resisted Sporting KC's late pressure.
