Lauren Hemp is expected to turn down an offer from Barcelona to stay at Manchester City according to reports.
Journalist Sandra Riquelme of Relevo has reported that the England winger, who has been a key part of her team's title challenge this year, will decide to sign a new and improved deal with her club instead of joining the current European champions.
Previous reports had suggested that Hemp had been on the verge of signing for Barça after six seasons with City.
However, one City player who is expected to depart Manchester for the Catalan city is goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck.
The 24-year-old was City's first choice last season but has lost her place in the team to teenager Khiara Keating this campaign. Roebuck is expected to replace the departing Barcelona goalkeeper Sandra Paños.
