Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen is "awake" in hospital after collapsing during the Danes' Euro 2020 fixture against Finland.
The 29-year-old former Tottenham player has "stabilised", according to Uefa.
The Group B match in Copenhagen was suspended prior to half-time after the Inter Milan player fell to the ground when the ball was played to him from a throw-in, and subsequently received emergency treatment on the field.
Finland won the game 1-0 after it restarted, with the Danish players applauded back onto the pitch by the Finns when they took to the field to resume the game.
Uefa has stated that the game was restarted "following the request made by players of both teams".
The final five minutes of the first half were completed, before a five-minute half-time break and the second period.
The visitors, on their major tournament debut, took the lead when Joel Pohjanpalo converted a header from Jere Uronen's cross after 60 minutes.
Denmark blew their best chance at levelling the scoreline when Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's poor penalty was saved.
