Derby County have signed former England left-back Ashley Cole on a deal until the end of the season.
Cole was a free agent after his recent departure from LA Galaxy, with manager Frank Lampard confident the 38-year-old will boost Derby’s promotion drive.
"I’m delighted that we’ve been able to secure Ashley’s services for the rest of the season. He’s a fantastic player, a quality left-back, and he also brings great experience to the dressing room." Lampard said.
Cole joins a Derby side pushing for promotion to the Premier League, with the Rams sixth in the table after Saturday's win against Reading.
