Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has started this season in great form under new Toffees' boss Marco Silva - bagging the matchwinner in Saturday's 3-2 win at Leicester.
With four goals and an assist to his name in the Premier League in 2018/19, the Icelandic star has come into his own after a difficult period under former boss Sam Allardyce last season.
In fact, his exploits this season serve to underline what a talented technician the former Reading, Tottenham and Swansea man is - his former team-mate Christian Eriksen the ONLY Premier League midfielder involved in more goals than Sigurdsson over the past five seasons (from 2014/15).

To put Sigurdsson's five year contribution of 35 goals and 30 assists into context, he is level over this period with Arsenal's Mesut Ozil (24 goals and 41 assists). He is also ahead of stellar names such as Kevin De Bruyne (21 goals and 43 assists) and Dele Alli (36 goals and 27 assists), although both of those players were not Premier League players in 2014/15 and have thus accumulated their hauls in less time.
Everton have won their last two Premier League games and will hope they and their midfield playmaker can take this momentum - disrupted as it will be by the international break - into their next top flight encounter against Crystal Palace on 21 October.
