The Premier League player involved in most top flight goals at the start of this season...is a defender.
With Matchday 4 over, and the impending international break on everyone's minds, a quick look at the stats shows that Watford left-back Jos'e Holebas has been involved in more Premier League goals than any player up to this point - with 1 goal and 4 assists to his name for the Hornets.
No player in the top 4 tiers has supplied more goals than Holebas, who scored a vital goal in Javi Gracia's side's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at the end of August.
At the ripe old age of 34, time is not on Holebas' side, but he is certainly proving a very important cog in the wheel for a Watford side who have made an excellent start to the season and currently sit level on points at the top of the table with Liverpool and Chelsea.
