31 years in the making

With an impressive victory on Sunday, Watford inflicted defeat on Tottenham at Vicarage Road for the first time since May 1987.

After a barren run stretching back 16 games against visiting Spurs' sides, Watford exorcised these particular demons - recording only their third ever home win over the North London rivals. 

After a stunning start to the season, Watford now sit third in the Premier League, on the same points as Chelsea and Liverpool.
