Since he replaced Di Matteo as Aston Villa's manager back in 2016/2017, Steve Bruce has failed to win the universal approval of Viilla fans - which is somewhat surprising given their success at home during his reign. 

After a thrilling 3x2 win against Wigan Athletic at the weekend, no team in the top 4 tiers has won more league points (96) at home than Villa since Bruce took charge ahead of the 16/17 season.
