Adebaya Akinfenwa, aka 'The Beast', has become the first player in the top 4 tiers of English football to reach double figures for league goals and assists in 2017/18. So far this season in League Two, the Wycombe Wanderers forward has notched an impressive 15 goals and assisted 10 more.

A closer look at the numbers reveals that Akinfenwa's 15 goals have been scored in just 31 matches; the 35-year-old forward currently averaging 0.48 goals per game. All of Akinfenwa's league strikes this season have come from inside the box - 10 headers, 3 with his right foot and 2 with his left. Nine of Akinfenwa's League Two goals have featured in league wins for the Chairboys - the powerful striker netting two matchwinners so far this term.
