Harry Kane: a golden horizon

Tottenham's Harry Kane has been scoring goals at the same pace as he has been hitting the headlines. The 24-year old striker is the current leader of the race for the 17/18 Golden Shoe and poised to break the monopoly imposed on the award by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi over the past decade.

Kane has been on a roll so far this season and his 21 goals in 23 matches in the Premier League currently put him in top spot in the Golden Shoe rankings. With a total of 42 points, he is battling it out with the likes of Lazio's Ciro Immobile, PSG's Edinson Cavani, Messi and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
