Manchester City continue chasing their neighbour rivals at the top of the Premier League table, after beating Norwich, 1-5, at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, as they are now just two point behind Manchester United, who still have a game in hand.

The Citizens meant business from the very first minute of the match, and enjoyed a 2-0 lead at the end of the first-half, clearly determined to keep their title hopes alive.

Carlos Tèvez continued his good form scoring his second goal, since returning from Argentina, in what was a super strike after receiving tha ball 30 yards out and then hammerin git over John Ruddy into the roof of the Norwich’s net.

Less than ten minutes later it was another Argentine striker who increased the visitors’ lead shooting the ball into the top-left hand corner of their opponents net, from a 20-yard distance and assisted by Tèvez.

However, Norwich entered stronger at the second-half as Andrew Surman decreased their disadvantage in the 51st minute firing a cross from the left into Joe Hart’s net.

But the Argentine pair, Tèvez and Aguero, who had already scored a goal each, during the first 45 minutes, were truly inspired as they were the ultimate responsible ones for the visitors hammering.

Carlos Tèvez completed a stunning hat-trick with two second-half goals, at 73’ and 80’, while Aguero also scored before the referee’s final whistle, completing a double, with a 70th minute strike.

With this win, Manchester City continue sitting in the second position of the Premier League table with 77 points, two points behind the Red Devils, who host Aston Villa on Sunday.
