Messi? Mbappé? Boring! Playmaker already knew everything there was to know about those players. What we enjoy more is finding the next big thing at international tournaments.

It happens every time, a player that fans know relatively little about has a great tournament and becomes a breakout star. For instance, this year that was half of the Morocco team.

So, we narrowed the list down to six players (just one Moroccan in the list) who have put in World Cup performances that may well catch the eye of the scouts from the big teams.
