        Rotherham part ways with manager Matt Taylor

        Rotherham has parted ways with manager Matt Taylor following Saturday's humiliating 5-0 defeat against Watford. 

        Taylor spent 13 months at the Yorkshire club, after leaving Exeter City to replace Paul Warne.

        Having secured only two victories in the first 16 games and sitting four points adrift from safety, the 41-year-old manager's tenure comes to an end. 

        The club now has the upcoming international break as an opportunity to appoint a new manager before facing Leeds United at AESSEAL New York Stadium a week on Friday.

        Disappointing news for Rotherham - it's time to move on and find a new manager who can turn their fortunes around!

        Rotherham United deserved better. Taylor had a tough job from the beginning and did the best he could with the resources he had. Good luck to him in his next venture.

        Disappointed with the news. Taylor did his best for Rotherham, but the result was not what was expected. Hopefully the club can now appoint a manager that is up to the task.

        Disappointing end to Matt Taylor's time at Rotherham. Can't believe they're already 4 points adrift from safety. Hope the new manager can help turn it around.

        Disappointed to hear that Matt Taylor has had to leave Rotherham. He was a great manager in my opinion and deserved more time to get the job done.
