Millwall have joined the race for Rotherham United forward Chiedozie Ogbene according to Football Insider.
The Republic of Ireland international is in the final months of his contract with Rotherham with the club resigned to losing the player. While Rotherham would prefer not to lose Ogbene during the January window it is the club’s last opportunity to profit from the player they signed in 2019.
Millwall will face competition in their pursuit of Ogbene though with Swansea City among a number of other Championship sides said to be interested in the player.
Ogbene has scored six league goals and assisted two for Rotherham this season with the Millers hovering above the relegation zone.
