Ipswich Town returned to the top of the Championship with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Southampton at Portman Road.
The Blues got off to a flying start as Leif Davis fired a powerful shot into the top corner to give them the lead in the 13th minute.
However, the Saints quickly responded, with Che Adams equalising just seconds later after a pass from Joe Aribo.
Just 10 minutes later, Southampton went ahead through Adam Armstrong, who capitalised on a through ball from Stuart Armstrong.
In the second half, Kieran McKenna's men rallied, and substitutes Jack Taylor and Nathan Broadhead combined to level the score midway the second half with Broadhead curling a low shot into the bottom corner.
In the closing minutes, the visitors were reduced to 10 men when James Bree was sent off for a foul on Davis, halting a potential attack.
Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, Leif Davis found Jeremy Sarmiento in the box, and the Brighton loanee calmly flicked the ball into the bottom corner in the seventh minute of added time, sparking celebrations at Portman Road.
With this victory, Ipswich moves two points clear at the top of the table, while Southampton remains in fourth place.
