Austrian international Marko Arnautovic has left West Ham to join Chinese side Shanghai SIPG for £22.4m.
After a week of speculation, during which Arnautovic told the Hammers he wanted to quit the club - the move has gone through after an increased bid for the forward was accepted.
West Ham's initial reaction had been to tell the 30-year-old to honour the contract extension he signed in January, but Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has opted to avoid further disruption and cut his losses.
Despite causing ructions at the London Stadium, there is no doubting Arnautovic's success on the pitch for West Ham - the powerful attacker netting 22 goals in 65 appearances for the East Londoners.
Lovely send off for Arnautovic from the Hammers’ Twitter account. 🤣 https://t.co/2BdK9d92mX
