The goalscoring exploits of Tranmere's centre-forward James Norwood may have got pulses racing in League Two, but it is his defence that have made the Merseyside club's home patch the toughest place to score in the EFL. 

While 23-goal Norwood leads the League Two goal charts, following Tranmere's promotion from the National League last term, their backline has been outstanding at home: fellow Merseysiders Liverpool (7 goals against) the only team to concede fewer goals at home across the top 4 tiers in 2018/19.

With ever-present goalkeeper Scott Davies between the sticks, Tranmere have conceded a miserly 9 League Two goals at Prenton Park all season - an impressive achievement that Rovers will look to build upon tonight when they entertain Crewe Alexandra.
