Since joining Carlisle in 2014/15, Danny Grainger has been League Two's top scoring defender - the left-back netting the Cumbrian's late winner against Newport in their last outing in the fourth tier.

Since the 32-year-old signed for the Cumbrians, he has scored more goals (24) than any other defender in League Two - eight more than the next most prolific defender Newport's Mickey Demetriou.

In Carlisle's colours, Grainger has already totted up 150 league matches - six of them this season (with two goals to his name).
