Raul Jimenez scored in the second half to lift Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-0 victory over Burnley at Molineux on Sunday.
Jimenez's strike, his second since joining Wolves from Benfica in the summer, came in the 61st minute after he slipped Matt Doherty's through ball past Joe Hart and into the bottom corner.
Burnley pushed further forward, as they had to, but Rui Patricio had only one bobbling shot to deal with. Wolves forward Leo Bonatini should have made it 2-0 in stoppage time when he scuffed wide from Adama Traore's pass with Wolves' 30th shot, but Nuno Espirito Santos' men had to settle for 1-0 in the end.
