Eric Lamela grabbed a consolation goal back in stoppage-time, but it proved too little, too late for Mauricio Pochettino's men as Spurs slipped to a second successive defeat.

After the encounter, Jurgen Klopp said, “We were the deserved winner of that game today. They could have scored a second goal at the end but for 85 minutes, we were dominant”.
