The player's five goals and three assists in the first six matches of the season have helped push the Fishermen to 6th spot in League One under new manager Joey Barton - Fleetwood still unbeaten when Evans has got himself on the scoresheet.
After such a start, Evans may now harbour hopes of becoming the first Fleetwood player since Jamie Vardy to net 20 goals in a season.
