Last Saturday Aston Villa served notice that the Championship title race is far from over - thumping current leaders Wolves 4-1 at Villa Park.
Wolves remain top of the Championship and favourites for the title, but their loss to Villa has cut their lead to just three points from second-placed Cardiff.
At Villa Park, Ghanaian Albert Adomah maintained his fantastic form this season: scoring the Villans' first goal and assisting another for Lewis Grabban. In fact, the 30-year old midfielder has been involved in more Championship goals than any player since 2017: assisting 10 times, in addition to finding the net on 16 occasions. In the last five matches Adomah has scored on three occasions - against Wolves, Birmingham City and Burton Albion.
