The Playmaker Quiz

Another week, another quiz. It's time to tackle it. 

The dust barely settles on a Premier League matchweek before another is upon us - numero six rumbling sullenly towards us like a dropped-from-Guardiola's-Champions-League-squad, birthday-cake-less Yaya Toure. 

This week's slice of trivia action has been imparted with a few crafty ones - and requires a little historical knowledge along with a dash of Championship savvy. You have been warned. 

The Vascotron was down in the dumps after a six last week (the worst I believe he has ever fared in a Playmaker Quiz) and got the very first question wrong this time out. Alarm bells rang. Had he lost his edge? Was it time for him to hand in his trivia wings? Did the Vascotron need a reboot?

The natural order of things soon reasserted itself, though: Vasco nailing it with a resounding 9 out of 10. Beat that.
